With courage, Jiwoo finally sends the message. Minseo replies with an apology—and a screenshot of a calendar packed tight.

During lunch, Jiwoo heads up to the rooftop garden. Between small lights and potted plants, she falls into thoughts of Minseo.
“Are we just comfortable coworkers… or something else?”
She names it in her mind a dozen ways—then still cannot say it out loud.

That night, they both opened the chat window at almost the same moment.
“Um… how do you see us?”
A sentence like Jiwoo’s may have appeared—and vanished—on Minseo’s screen too.
Neither wanted to pressure the other, so only a safe “How was your day?” remained.

Leaving the message un-deleted
After days of hesitation, Jiwoo takes out her phone on the rooftop again.
This time she does not delete it. Slowly, she finishes one sentence:
“I’ve been wondering… about us.”
Not a dramatic confession, but a different kind of courage for her.

A moment later, Minseo replies.
“I’ve been thinking in a good way too. Want to get to know each other—slowly?”
They still cannot define what they are, but they confirm they are looking in the same direction.
