Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service aim to define the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, and other necessary matters regarding the use of tarot reading services (the "Service") provided by Tarot Sinbak (the "Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms of Service are defined as follows:

  1. "Service" refers to all services provided by the Company, including tarot reading, AI interpretation, and expert consultation.
  2. "User" refers to members and non-members who use the Service provided by the Company in accordance with these Terms of Service.
  3. "Member" refers to a person who has registered as a member by providing personal information to the Company and can continuously receive information from the Company and use the Service.
  4. "Non-member" refers to a person who uses the Service provided by the Company without membership registration.

Article 3 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)

  1. These Terms of Service take effect for all users who wish to use the Service.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms of Service within the scope that does not violate relevant laws and regulations when necessary, and shall notify users without delay when the Terms are amended.
  3. Users who do not agree with the amended Terms may discontinue use of the Service and withdraw from membership.

Article 4 (Provision and Modification of Service)

  1. The Company provides the following services:
    • AI-based tarot card interpretation service
    • Professional tarot master reading service
    • Daily fortune and topic-based tarot readings
    • Tarot reading record management
    • Other services that the Company develops additionally or provides through partnership agreements
  2. The Company may change the content of the Service provided according to operational and technical needs.

Article 5 (Service Interruption)

The Company may restrict or suspend all or part of the Service in the following cases:

  1. When unavoidable due to construction such as maintenance of Service facilities
  2. When a telecommunications service provider as defined in the Telecommunications Business Act suspends telecommunications services
  3. When there is a disruption to normal Service use due to national emergencies, power outages, Service facility failures, or excessive Service usage
  4. When the Company determines that it is inappropriate to continue providing the Service due to other serious reasons

Article 6 (Membership Registration)

  1. Users apply for membership registration by filling out member information according to the registration form prescribed by the Company and expressing their consent to these Terms of Service.
  2. The Company shall register as a member those users who apply for membership as described in Paragraph 1, unless they fall under any of the following cases.
  3. The time of establishment of the membership registration contract is when the Company's approval reaches the member.

Article 7 (Personal Information Protection)

The Company strives to protect users' personal information in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The Company's Privacy Policy and relevant laws apply to the protection and use of personal information.

Article 8 (User Obligations)

Users shall not engage in the following acts:

  1. Registering false information during application or modification
  2. Misappropriating another person's information
  3. Changing information posted by the Company
  4. Transmitting or posting information other than that prescribed by the Company (such as computer programs)
  5. Infringing on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of the Company and other third parties
  6. Damaging the reputation of the Company and other third parties or interfering with their business
  7. Publishing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, voices, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the Service

Article 9 (Disclaimer)

  1. The tarot reading service is for entertainment and self-reflection purposes and cannot replace medical, legal, or financial advice.
  2. The Company is exempt from liability for providing the Service when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure reasons such as natural disasters, wars, or suspension of services by telecommunications service providers.
  3. The Company shall not be held responsible for disruptions to Service use due to reasons attributable to the user.
  4. The Company shall not be held responsible for users' failure to obtain or loss of expected profits from using the Service.

Article 10 (Dispute Resolution)

  1. The Company shall prioritize the handling of complaints and opinions submitted by users.
  2. Lawsuits regarding disputes between the Company and users shall be filed with the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Article 11 (Interpretation Rights and Arcana Fragments)

"Interpretation Right" refers to a consumable right (token) that allows users to view tarot interpretations without watching advertisements. "Arcana Fragment" is the symbol representing interpretation rights.

  1. Users can hold a maximum of 3 Interpretation Rights (Arcana Fragments).
  2. Interpretation Rights do not automatically recharge over time.
  3. Methods to acquire Interpretation Rights:
    • Attendance: 1 fragment for 2 check-ins, additional 1 fragment for 7 consecutive days (once per week)
    • Review: 1 fragment for writing 3 reviews
    • Ad Preview: 1 fragment for watching 1 ad
    • Roulette: 1 free spin per day (0-3 fragments possible)
  4. 1 Interpretation Right is deducted when viewing a tarot interpretation.
  5. Interpretation Right balances and related data are stored locally on the device and not on the server. Therefore, recovery is not guaranteed when the app is deleted or the device is changed.

These Terms of Service take effect from January 1, 2024.
